My sister-in-law, sent an 'easy' crochet pattern and asked me to make a hat for her husband. Well, I tried. And failed.
I tried again. And again.
Finally, I had to get Mary Anne to help me. Turns out, I have been crocheting all wrong!! The amigurumi technique may have messed me up, or in my amateurness, I just missed a few things. At any rate, Mary Anne set me straight.

I didn't do the original pattern, instead opting for a modified pattern all my own. Crochet is absolutely beautiful when done properly...

Ok. I got everything up to row 20 & 21 where it says DC in each sc around. What do you mean by that? I though it meant to decrease and I tried that for two rows and I ended up with what could be a beret! Help!!!! Could you tell me HOW YOU decreased? Because I know there is lots of different ways to do it.
ReplyDeleteWhen you say DC, do you mean double crochet or decrease. Right now I have what looks to be a frisbee..
ReplyDeletethank you for this pattern! I'm crocheting it for... my brother in law ;)
